Mark Pritchard, has urged the leaders of Telford & Wrekin Council to “fight any heartless Appeals” made by developers after a recent spate of housing planning applications have been refused planning permission after major campaigns by borough residents.
Mark has joined local residents in fighting "disproportionate" housing applications in Waters Upton, Muxton, Newport and Wellington, said:
“The Council need to send out a clear message that they will fight Appeals by developers. The Council should avoid rolling over and capitulating to the resources of some greedy and insatiable developers. Local residents must come first.” The MP also highlighted recent housing applications in Edgmond saying: "some houses are needed, but not on this scale or in the location proposed".
