Mark Pritchard, has today welcomed the news that Telford College or Arts and Technology is to receive nearly £3 million of public funding through the College Capital Investment Fund.
TCAT will receive £2,983,000 of capital funding to improve its facilities through a £8,949,137 project, leveraging in £5,966,137 of private funding. The funding is part of the Government’s increased £550m capital funding announced in last year’s Autumn Statement and follows the MP's praise for TCAT on the floor of the House of Commons last week.
Mr Pritchard said:
“This is excellent news for TCAT. This funding will make a real difference to the College helping it to modernise and update its facilities. I am grateful to the Government for listening to the need for these funds. I am sure this new funding will be welcomed by both staff and students”.
