NHS Shrewsbury, Telford & Wrekin has been given £21.4m of additional government funding to provide 52 new beds across the Prince Royal and Royal Shrewsbury Hospitals.

32 of the beds will be provided at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford whilst 20 will be for the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

This is on top of the record increases in funding that the Conservative government has provided to the NHS and reaffirms the Conservatives' commitment to investing in our health services.
