Campaigners in Newport against the Sainsbury’s supermarket expect to hear the verdict of the Telford & Wrekin Borough appeal against the Morrison’s Supermarket by January 21st or 22nd.
This has been a long running battle between the residents of Newport and the Borough Council. The Borough is set to receive £21 million if the Sainsbury’s scheme is given the go ahead on a green field site.
